Donna Clark passed away on October 31, after battling cancer for 7 years. A good friend gone too soon.

CHAMPAIGN – Donna S. Clark, 71, of Champaign passed away at home on Thursday (Oct. 31, 2013).
She was born in Beardstown on Aug. 5, 1942, to Herschel and Rickey (Lovekamp) Staake. She married John Robert "Bob" Clark at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arenzville on Aug. 3, 1963.
Donna is survived by her husband, Bob, of Champaign; and two sons, Andrew (Kara) Clark and their daughters, Lauren and Abigail, of Carmel, Ind., and Brian (Lindsay) Clark and their daughter, Natalie, of Westfield, Ind. She is also survived by her brother, Gerald (Linda) Staake of Anaheim, Calif., and sister-in-law, Sue McLennan of Quincy, in addition to extended family and friends.
Donna was employed by Illinois Power Co. in Jacksonville prior to her marriage and was a homemaker for the rest of her life. She was a lontime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Champaign, and was active in various church leadership and committee activities. She was a past president of PEO Chapter FF of Urbana.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2101 S. Prospect Ave., Champaign, the Rev. Dr. Edward Schneider officiating. A committal service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Arenzville, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013. Family will greet friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. with burial to follow.
The family suggests memorials be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and designated to the Carol Manley Endowment Fund for Youth.
