Fort Lauderdale is but a pleasant memory.  The weather was good most of the time with rain on Monday and Friday.  We had lunch at Aruba in Lauderdale by the Sea on Friday and were able to eat on the beach dock before the rains came.  It was cool (upper 50's - low 60's) enroute, and I didn't see any alligators along Alligator Alley.  Frequently I have seen them laying in the sun, but no sun = no alligators.  The beach is fantastic, and I long to have it in my backyard.  The mansions along the beach?  Well, they're pretty amazing too.

After a cold night, these people were enjoying the sun on the courtyard on Fifth Avenue.

Naples Beach - almost deserted on a cold morning.

Temps dropped to upper 30's - low 40's during the night, but NO SNOW!!
