Carnival Dream Cruise

After a two day drive, we visited a college friend of Jerry's in Leesburg, FL - Dave and Marcia Duncan.  Dave farms in Western Illinois near Aledo.  Then, cruised on Carnival Dream to the Eastern Caribbean.

"Take Two" performs for our listening and dancing pleasure in the multilevel Atrium.

Jerry with a pirate at Nassau.

Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas, one of the largest cruise ships, was docked next to us in Bahamas.  It was huge, but not as large as Royal Carib's Allure of the Seas, which the Sampsons cruised on.

The cruise ships keep the Caribbean economy rollin'-Majesty of the Seas, Dream, and Oasis of the Seas docked at Nassau.

We were introduced to the Captain and Crew on Captain's Gala night.  The captain, Antonio Marchetti,  is the one far right marching out.  I've never been on a cruise with an American Captain.  I don't know what that says about our country.

The large screen above the pool was used to broadcast short stories, as well as shows on the ship.

Five cruise ships docked in St Thomas.

Dream Show Band performs in the Ocean Plaza.

Every evening we had an Origami Towel Animal on our bed with chocolates.  This one is supposed to be a dog.

We think this one is a bat.

Hubby aboard ship in St Thomas.  St Thomas was the only port where we had access to email and text messaging without additonal charges.  Voice messaging was higher, however.  I think it was because St Thomas is a US island.

Karaoke in The Song lounge.  This young boy(about 10)was allowed to perform early, since it was adults only.  He was pretty good though.

Hubby on St Maartin.
The wait staff performed in the dining room a couple nights on this cruise.
