Meteotsunami Strikes Naples

A meteotsunami struck Naples on Sunday morning bringing the water level up to 7 ft - 6 ft higher than a normal high tide. Grandma Jones fell last week, but was still able to enjoy the sparkling wine and cheese party.

We saw Wally and Lorene at their mansion in the sky and had lunch with them on Marco Island.  Kathleen was inducted into the National Honor Society.

If you come to Florida, you can play baseball all year 'round. So Will you can start packin'.

Grandma Jones displaying a big patch on her head from her earlier fall.

There are three high rises at the Hammock Bay Complex.

Lorene and Wally are on the 9th floor of the Aversana at Hammock Bay.

Baseball practice at Naples High School in January.

Lots of avacados on the tree outside our window. They are much bigger than the ones at the grocery store.

The beach on Sunday AM after the storm.  The water level was way up on the beach.

Lots of debris strewn around at Harbour Lights.

The water washed out the new flowers that were planted last week along the fence by the dock.

Water level came over the sea wall and sidewalk.

Kathleen with her proud parents.  Hope she doesn't throw her honor cords in the dumpster with her graduation gown like her dad did.
