Heritage Band 5K and Homer Soda Fest

This week Claire portrayed Martin Luther King - giving a speech and dressing like him in the Wax Museum project at her school.

Jerry and I walked in the Heritage Band 5K race in Homer.  We finished in 43 minutes.  The race was to raise money for Heritage Band and held in conjunction with the Homer Soda Fest.  Over 250 kinds of soda were available to taste and purchase.

The Diamond Dogs again won their second -  second place in tournament play.  Maybe next time they'll get first.

We have a pair of Orioles visiting the waterfall and feeders.  I've been trying to get them to stay.
