Irma Lee's Passing, Austin's Graduation, and Nature Shots

Irma Lee passed away last Thursday AM.  She was 95.

Austin graduated from Heritage High School in Broadlands.  A party for him and four of his friends was held at the Homer Community Center following graduation.

The baby robins are growing, and a deer passed through our backyard.

Irma Lee Peck, age 95 of Stockton, IL, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Provena St. Joseph Center in Freeport, IL. She was born March 10, 1919 in Stockton, the daughter of the late Ira and Mabel (Gishwiller) Peck.

Irma Lee always looked forward to and enjoyed spending holidays and Saturday afternoons having coffee with family members. She was accompanied by a canine companion for most of her life and was a supporter of the Humane Society. She was always thankful of the special care and assistance provided by Elaine Townsend and was deeply appreciative of the superb care of Provena St. Joseph for the past several years, and Oakley Court prior to that.

These robins have changed a lot in 6 days.  They now have feathers.

One has perished.  I only saw two.

I'm sure deer pass through our backyard often, but we just don't see them.  This one was there quite a while, but it's hard to get a photo because they move so quickly.
