It's been a hot, Hot, HOT week.

Jack and Elaine celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary recently in the Big City with their family.  Their anniversary date:  July 7, 2012.

I took several family pix at Hubby's 70th birthday celebration.  Pictured are the Champaign Townsends, St Charles Townsends, Roselle Townsends, and the Mahomet Sampsons.

Several families are on vacation this week, so I've posted some of their vacation photos too.  The St Charles Townsends are visiting the Jersey Shore, but no photos from them yet. 

Since it has been so warm with temps in the 100's for several days, Hubby and I started an indoor project:  redecorating my dressing room. 

There's also a pic of our near miss.  Hubby tried to burn trash and started a grass fire.  I don't think we have a "no burn warning" in Champaign County, but perhaps we should have.

The Roselle Townsends went to Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City.  In this photo they are at Sleeping Bear Dunes.



Tiggie May went to a Cardinals game in St Louis, the Zoo, and Six Flags.



The Sampsons visited Opa and Oma in Hartville, MO



They rode the ATV, swam in the pool,  and had a cookout.



We went to the NARFE picnic.  The local officers with David Hinton, District Rep, and Leo Cunningham, State Rep. (in the orange caps)
