Florida Fun 2012 continues . . .

We loved being at Greenlinks at Lely Resort, but all good things must come to an end.  On Saturday we moved to the Ramada Inn, aka Flophouse.  So glad we were able to go to the beach on Saturday afternoon, as it has been overcast and rainy ever since.  I'm hoping for more sunshine sometime this week to go to the beach.

 

This is the entrance to Lely Resort, which is subdivided into numerous developments within the complex.  We were at Greenlinks.

This video shows our room at the Ramada.  It's clean, but small.  Two other things:  the AC cools the room, but doesn't lower the humidity.  It always feels damp in here.  The cabinet doors below the sink don't have pulls, so you have to bend down to grab the bottom of the door to open.

We decided to take a stroll out to Naples Pier since we hadn't been there.

There was a large fish that kept surfacing the water.  Some said it was a shark, but he came very close to shore where there were swimmers.  I don't think that's what it was.
