On New Years Eve we were entertained by the Chorale's "Our Folk Connection" concert at the Virginia Theatre.  There guest artists were Jean Redpath, folk singer, Laura Risk, fiddler, and Jacqueline Schwab, pianist. 

The Virginia Theatre opened on December 28, 1921, and recently observed its 90th birthday.  The theatre is currently being restored to its orginal elegance.  I always enjoy going there to check the progress and see what has been done.
