It's been jumpin' at our house!  This week we got a new granite countertop, copper sink, touch faucet, and garbage disposal in our kitchen.  The work on the master shower was completed.  We have a few minor kinks to get worked out, but we're enjoying the"new".

Workers from Pyramid Tops prepare the island cabinets for granite.

Lots of sanding to level up the cabinets.

More workers showed up to bring the granite in and finish the job.

The federal government has offered a "buyout" to employees meeting the qualifications, so every day we're getting the word someone else is retiring. There will probably be a lot more of these over the next few weeks.  Diana Lesny retired last week and was honored at a recent celebration.

Diana is a "handbag afficionado", so many brought old or new bags full of gag items.

Grandma Jones took a spill off the front porch on her 95th birthday.
