We awoke on Thursday, January 7, to a 5" snowfall. Schools in the area were closed. Later in the day high winds blew the snow into drifts.

Hubby got his first chance this year to play with his snowblower. He has so much fun with this and takes care of the neighbors' drives when they're not looking.

Hubby and Kelly pitchin' the snow.

Backyard wonderland.

Our circle a few days later.

Caily and Mom, Kelly, movin' the snow.

The Tecken-brocks visited ILLINI Country last week for the IL-Iowa game. The next morning we gathered at the Clarks for breakfast and conversation--Donna, Hubby, Pat, Marvin, Me, and Bob.

Hubby and I have been cleaning, sorting, and getting rid of some of our junk that's been hidden in the "nooks and crannies". I don't know if we're moving or getting ready to die! LOL

This is our Christmas cactus. A friend gave me a "slip" from hers a couple years ago. It recently had two blooms. I think it should have more, but I'm probably not doing something right to get it to bloom.

Our front door is ready for Valentine's Day.
