Last week we visited Melissa, Caelin, and Georgie in Virginia Beach. We had one nice day, Tuesday, but the rest of the week was cold, windy, and rainy. YUK!

On Wednesday Caelin invited us to have lunch with her at her school, Old Donation Center for the Gifted and Talented.

Here Caelin is ready to change classrooms as one of her teachers watches. The tub holds her school supplies to be transported between her two teachers' rooms.

This is the lunchroom at her school. Last week they were observing National School Lunch Week.

Caelin with her best friend, Madeline.

On Thursday we went to Georgie's school, Point O' View Elementary, to have lunch with him.

Georgie was proud to show us his school and have lunch with us. He wore his special Fighting ILLINI shirt.

Georgie introduced us to his teacher, Mrs. Pfeifer.

Lunch with Jerpa at a special table at the front of the lunchroom.

The beach on Tuesday, our only sunny day. . .there is no place like it!

The "angry" sea and deserted beach later in the week when it was windy and cold.

If you "click" this picture to enlarge, you will see this parasailer trying to get aloft from the wind in his parashute- - -no boat required.

On the boardwalk, the Christmas decorations are up, but not yet lit.
